SuperFile Terms & Conditions

Legal Information & Notices · Updated July 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of superfile.com and any related services provided by Superfile (“Superfile,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using superfile.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Superfile. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. The Service

Superfile provides a platform for file management, storage, and sharing. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to:

Superfile is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

a. Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you upload, store, or share using Superfile (“User Content”).

b. License to Superfile

By using the service, you grant Superfile a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and transmit User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the service.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

c. Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and share it.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of Superfile is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy and our Hateful Conduct and Discrimination Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violation of either policy may result in restriction of content, a hold on or revocation of a name or extension, or suspension or termination of access.

6. Fees and Payments

Certain features or services may require payment. All fees are disclosed at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Superfile does not store your payment information.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law.

7. Third-Party Services

Superfile may integrate or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices, and your use of such services is subject to their terms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Superfile at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.

You may stop using the service at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

9. Disclaimers

Superfile is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that content will be secure or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Superfile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Superfile in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Superfile and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Superfile after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes are resolved. Except for the matters below, you and Superfile agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, rather than in court.

Class-action waiver. Disputes will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You and Superfile waive any right to a jury trial.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual-property or account-security interests.

Opt-out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@superfile.com with your name and account details. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

15. Name Reservations & Registry

SuperFile operates a public name registry. Reserving a name places a hold; a hold is not a grant of ownership. Holds are free, honored in order of receipt, and may be released if verification is not completed within 30 days of notice.

Verification

Verification uses a $0 card authorization solely to establish personhood. The authorization is never charged, never billed later, and card numbers are never stored in full. Some banks may display a temporary pending authorization; it disappears automatically.

Examination of Brand and Institution Claims

Brand-class registrations (for example .ibm or .deloitte) require evidence of trademark rights and are examined by human reviewers before grant. Institution-class registrations are reserved for governments, public agencies, and military bodies and must be placed with an official .gov or .mil email address. Examination outcomes are final and claims may be declined.

16. Registration Lanes

Every name is reserved and administered through one of the registration lanes below. A lane sets who may hold a name in it, how holders are verified, and the additional terms that apply. Reserving in a lane you are not eligible for may result in the hold being declined or released.

IndividualFree · $0 verify

For real people — creators, professionals, and families. Reserve @yourname. Verified with a $0 card authorization to establish personhood; the authorization is never charged and card numbers are never stored in full.

BrandExamined

For companies and trademarks, for example .yourbrand. Requires evidence of trademark rights and is examined by human reviewers before grant. Examination outcomes are final and claims may be declined.

Institution.gov / .mil

Reserved for governments, public agencies, and military bodies. Claims must be placed with an official .gov or .mil email address and are examined by human reviewers before grant.

OrganizationsBy application

For companies rolling SuperFile out to their people, and for distributors onboarding many organizations at once. Availability, pricing, and administration terms are set in a separate order or agreement.

We may add, rename, merge, or retire lanes, and may adjust the eligibility or verification requirements of a lane. Any material change to a lane will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

17. Trademarks

SuperFile®, SuperSecure®, SuperEnterprise™, SuperVerse™, SuperBusiness™, SuperID™, SuperChain™, SuperPay™, SuperCert™, SuperOS™, SuperIntelligence™, SuperStream™, SuperVault™, SuperDRM™, SuperVerify™, Sup™, and Zero Trust File Encryption™, together with the SuperFile logo and shield device, are trademarks of SuperFile Inc. Nothing in these Terms, and no reservation, registration, or use of the Service, grants you any right, licence, or permission to use them.

These marks are also protected inside the register itself: they are held on the trademark block list described in the examination policy above, so a name that reproduces one cannot be claimed by anyone other than SuperFile Inc. We apply that rule to our own marks on the same terms we apply it to everyone else’s.

Trademarks belonging to third parties that appear on this site, including any named in the register or in examination decisions, remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of, or affiliation with, SuperFile Inc.

To report a name that infringes a mark you own, write to legal@superfile.com. Claims of copyright infringement are handled under our DMCA policy.
